Error - 'Unable to establish a connection to the server, please check the connection details and server availability' when logging into Orbis TaskCentre

First ensure that your user name and password are correct. Then check that the TaskCentre Service is running as this will prevent TaskCentre connecting.

If the log on credentials are correct and the Service is running, then this error suggests that the SQL server is not reachable. Please ensure that the server name on the login screen is correct and that the server is online and reachable (i.e. not behind a firewall etc.) - you may need to ask your IT team to help with this.

Remember the server the system requires is the server that runs your Access Task Centre windows services.
