User cannot log in as it says they are already logged in

Please restart the TaskCentre Service. This will disconnect all sessions and the user will then be able to log in again.

  1. Log on to the server where the Orbis TaskCentre is installed.

  2. Open up Control Panel and then Administrative Tools (steps to find these will differ depending on operating system).

  3. From within Administrative Tools, double-click on Services.

  4. In the window that opens, find the first service called "Access TaskCentre Service".

  5. Right click on this and select "Restart".

  6. You will likely get a warning to let you know that the Schedule Agent Service will also be restarted - click ok to this.

  7. A loading bar will appear on the screen while these are restarting and will automatically close when the services are running again.
