When using a data filter step that works against a repository in Access TaskCentre, and you find that the data is not filtering correctly and the repository is not populating, it is likely that the repository set against the filter is set to 'process all rows'.
β
When a filter is set to 'process all rows', this means that the filter will send all rows through the task - which will result in nothing going into the repository.
β
To check this:
Log into Access TaskCentre
Open the relevant task
Open the relevant Data Filter step
On the Main tab, select the Repository Filter
On the Processing tab, ensure that this is not set to Process all rows.
To ensure that the SMTP step has Memory defined to populate the repository:
Open the relevant task
Open the step using Memory (Usually the Send Message (SMTP) step)
On the Main tab, click Memory. The Memory type used should be listed, if this is blank, no Memory has been defined.
To define the Memory, with the Memory Definition form open, click Add
Select which type of Memory is to be used.
Click OK
Drag the columns to be used in the repository from the record source in the Browser pane to the Items to Memorise.
To save the details, click OK
To save the memory definition, click OK.
To save the step, click OK.
To save the Task, click Apply.
