Set up a new ODBC connection

ODBC connections to be used in TaskCentre can be set up from within TaskCentre itself. This ensures that they are configured correctly for the application.

  1. Log in to TaskCentre.

  2. Click **Manage**, **Tools**, **Input**, then click **Database Query (ODBC)**.

  3. Click Add.

  4. Select the **SQL Server** driver under **ODBC Drivers**, enter the server and login details, then click **OK** to save. Alternatively, choose the relevant server under **Data Sources**, enter the login details, and click **OK** to save. To configure additional options, click **Options**.

  5. You'll be taken back to the main ODBC screen.

  6. Select your new ODBC connection and click **Test** to confirm it's working.

  7. Select the connection and click **Properties** to make any changes.
