ODBC connections to be used in TaskCentre can be set up from within TaskCentre itself. This ensures that they are configured correctly for the application.
Log in to TaskCentre.
Click **Manage**, **Tools**, **Input**, then click **Database Query (ODBC)**.
Click Add.
Select the **SQL Server** driver under **ODBC Drivers**, enter the server and login details, then click **OK** to save. Alternatively, choose the relevant server under **Data Sources**, enter the login details, and click **OK** to save. To configure additional options, click **Options**.
You'll be taken back to the main ODBC screen.
Select your new ODBC connection and click **Test** to confirm it's working.
Select the connection and click **Properties** to make any changes.
